Whether filming in remote wilderness areas or documenting local wildlife, Claire is dedicated to inspiring positive change through the stories she tells.

Pauline Kyalo

Pauline Kyalo is a Kenyan Wildlife Filmmaker with a BSc. in Environmental Science and an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking. She is passionate about creating heartfelt stories that lie at the intersection of science, nature and culture, showcasing the natural world in a way that ignites instinctive conservation.

Previously, Pauline worked as an Assistant Producer at WildlifeDirect where she helped in the production of National Geographic’s African children program, ‘Team Sayari’ in a robust team led by Dr. Paula Kahumbu. She also spent time in various Kenyan National Parks working alongside Wildlife Photojournalist Charlie Hamilton James on his captivating photography project “End Times”.

Pauline’s storytelling roots run deep as she accumulated a wealth of experience as a theater/film actor and director in various genres, before delving into wildlife filmmaking. She’s bringing the same passion and creativity to the world of factual filmmaking, aiming to capture the essence of nature and wildlife in a way that resonates with diverse audiences.

Daria Eisenbrei

Daria Eisenbrei is an aspiring wildlife photographer/filmmaker from Louisville, Kentucky. After graduating from Butler University at the height of the pandemic and uncertain about her next steps, Daria began working as a videographer and photographer at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens in her hometown. It was there that Daria discovered her love for capturing the natural world and wildlife on film. She then decided to further her education in Wales at Aberystwyth University, studying Documentary – Landscape and Ecology as a Global Wales Postgraduate Scholar, followed by an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking at the University of the West of England. Her overarching goal is to contribute to projects that focus on the intersection of conservation, impact, and human-wildlife coexistence.

Joe Galuszka

Role in the film: Composer

Joe Galuszka is a freelance conductor, composer, and instrumentalist, based in Bristol. He directs both the Westbury Park Orchestra , Bristol Military Wives Choir and Winterbourne Wind Band, deputising frequently as guest conductor for several orchestras, bands, and youth groups across the U.K. In addition to this, he is currently involved as a workshop leader for two schools with the COSMOS Choir through St George’s Bristol, and teaches keyboard at another primary school with the educational arm of Bristol Ensemble, Preludes.

To date, Joe has written several works for band, chamber ensemble, choir, and orchestra, as well as scoring soundtracks for documentaries, animation, and independent short films. His soundtrack for the Australian wildlife documentary Firekeepers of Kakadu won gold at the London Independent Film Awards 2021 and bronze at the Global Music Awards in 2022. In 2021, his work Pandemic! for tuba quartet won the International Composition Competition led by tuba quartet When Tuba Come One. His other works for brass ensemble include Disinformation!, which received its world premiere in Stockholm in 2023 by former Swedish Champions Solna Brass, and We Wish Tu-ba Merry Christmas!, commissioned by When Tuba Come One and premiered by no less than 27 of the world’s finest tuba and euphonium players from bands including The Cory Band, the Black Dyke Band, and the Brighouse and Rastrick Band. He is currently on the roster with US-based brass band publisher Brookwright Music.

Over the last fifteen years, Joe has played tuba and percussion with some of the UK’s finest brass bands, including the Tredegar Town Band, Flowers, Aldbourne, Rothwell Temperance, and Filton Concert Brass, having studied tuba with the London Philharmonic Orchestra principal tubist, Lee Tsarmaklis. He also regularly performs percussion with orchestras across the city and performed timpani for several years with the Bristol Symphony Orchestra. Joe’s music for orchestra includes his latest commission for Longwell Green Orchestra, A Symphony of Centuries, thanks to Arts Council England, which will receive its premiere next year. Currently, Joe is writing his debut EP, The Liberation of Auschwitz, the first track of which will be released in 2025. He currently holds a position on both the Ivor’s Academy (Composers’ and Songwriters Alliance) Committee and the Musician’s Union Education Committee.
